A Critical Crisis
Over 10 million people are displaced inside Sudan, and nearly 4 million have fled to neighboring countries.
Widespread hunger, disease outbreaks such as cholera, and mass violence, particularly in Darfur, have devastated communities.
Humanitarian access is severely restricted by insecurity and blockades, while funding remains critically low, leaving millions without food, healthcare, or shelter.
Without an immediate ceasefire and increased aid, the crisis is expected to worsen dramatically in the coming months.

Emergency Medical Missions
Baitulmaal recently completed its first emergency medical mission in Sudan in coordination with the World Health Organization and Sudan’s Ministry of Health, providing life-saving specialized care to vulnerable patients at the Omdurman Teaching Hospital in Sudan.
The goal of the emergency medical missions is to not only treat critical cases but also enhance the local healthcare system’s ability to serve communities affected by conflict and displacement.
