Turkiye Aid
You can help with a donation today
The worst earthquake in more than a hundred years struck southern Turkiye and northern Syria, leaving thousands dead, injured or displaced. You can help support vulnerable families by:
- Providing hot meals
- Distributing winterization kits
- Sending tents for shelter
- Mobilizing lifesaving medical supplies
- and other essential aid
A Catastrophic Crisis
On February 6, 2023, two earthquakes measuring 7.8 and 7.5 in magnitude rocked Turkiye and Syria. They packed the power of more than 32 atomic bombs each.
More than 50,000 people were killed across both countries, with thousands more injured, missing or displaced.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), an estimated 23 million people are likely at risk in Turkiye and Syria following the earthquakes.
Without adequate food, water, shelter, or healthcare in the middle of a frigid winter, they face the threat of a “secondary disaster” if aid does not reach them soon.

Can they count on you?
The epicenter of the earthquakes is home to many refugees and internally displaced people who already lacked the resources and infrastructure to respond to such emergencies – especially in the middle of winter.
Freezing amid rubble and tears, families impacted by the quakes need our compassion now.
Baitulmaal is on the ground in Gaziantep and Sanliurfa in Turkiye as well as Idlib and surrounding areas in northern Syria responding to this crisis.
Without your support, families who survived the terrifying disaster may suffer from lack of adequate shelter, food, heat or medical care.
Will you help vulnerable families in need?
