Founded in 2004, Dallas-based Baitulmaal is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides life-saving, life-sustaining, and life-enriching humanitarian aid to underserved populations around the world, regardless of faith or nationality. We serve as a bridge between the compassion of our donors and the needs of their beneficiaries.

Medical Missions in Gaza
Baitulmaal, in coordination with the World Health Organization (WHO), is providing lifesaving medical care in Gaza by sending teams of physicians to the besieged Gaza Strip on month-long medical missions to address a myriad of needs including trauma care; obstetrics / gynecology; orthopedic, vascular, and cardiothoracic surgery; pediatrics; anesthesia and more. Cataract Surgery Projects
Cataracts remain the leading cause of blindness in the world, responsible for nearly 50% of avoidable blindness. Baitulmaal aims to address preventable blindness by providing free, high-quality cataract surgeries to underserved communities in Pakistan (through the Prevention of Blindness Hospital) and in various clinics in Kenya, Nigeria, Somalia, and Uganda. The impact goes beyond restored vision, it also means educational continuity, social reintegration, resumed livelihoods, and renewed hope. Learn more here.
