Refugees Struggle with Lack of Resources

While they may have escaped the ethnic cleansing campaigns, living conditions in Bangladesh refugee camps are challenging.

According to U.S. Aid, nearly 25% of people are food insecure as a result of widespread poverty from natural disasters, man-made humanitarian crises, and governmental neglect.

With only a quarter of the country above sea level, Bangladesh is at an increased risk for destructive cyclones – a threat exacerbated by climate change – that ravage the country by destroying land and crops.

Left without shelter, resources, or food supply, many Rohingya families sink deeper into poverty and become more vulnerable to diseases, developmental delays, and even death.

Can they count on you?

As the Rohingya people continue to experience unrest in Myanmar, more people are predicted to flee to Bangladesh for safety.

With an increased demand for resources and less land for agriculture, more of the population will be at threat of food insecurity and malnutrition.

Without your aid, families, including small children, could face preventable illnesses.

Without your support, individuals may not know where their next meal will come from.

Will you help feed the food-insecure Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh?
