- 25,000+ displaced; bridges, homes, and roads destroyed, cutting off remote areas.
- Urban flooding in Karachi and Sindh: roads submerged, power outages across major districts.
- Massive destruction of buildings, over 1,676 buildings damaged, with 562 completely destroyed across districts like Swat, Abbottabad, Charsadda, Malakand, Shangla, Lower Dir, and Torghar.
- Families are in need of food, water, hygiene kits, shelter, healthcare and more.

The average person in Pakistan has inconsistent and unreliable access to clean drinking water, which is exacerbated by natural disasters such as monsoon floods. Pakistan’s lack of clean water also severely impacts the country’s sanitation. Throughout the region, especially in rural areas, many live without toilets and instead use shared, unsanitary spaces to defecate. These unhygienic practices contaminate water sources, contributing to high rates of waterborne illnesses.
Additionally, the country faces vast food insecurity, which disproportionately impacts women and children in Pakistan. This, along with lack of clean water and sanitation, drives an increased need for healthcare, which the country’s collapsed system cannot meet. These living conditions are the outcomes of widespread poverty and are amplified by Pakistan’s poor economic development.
