Afghanistan Aid
Help provide urgent humanitarian assistance
As Afghanistan reels from instability and unrest, thousands of Afghans are displaced. In total, over 4 million Afghans have been driven from their homes, accounting for the second-largest displaced population in the world after Syria.
- Provide emergency food assistance
- Reintegrate displaced families
- Sponsor vulnerable orphans
- Facilitate economic development projects
- Dig water wells to provide safe, clean water
- Distribute winter and other seasonal aid

A Forgotten Crisis
From political instability to economic meltdown and extreme drought, Afghanistan is reeling from multiple difficulties.
After years of displacement, thousands of Afghans are now returning to Afghanistan — many forcibly and with only the clothes on their back — facing hunger, thirst, and the unknown.
🇦🇫 Current Situation
-
Over 1.4 million Afghans have returned or been deported from countries such as Iran so far in 2025.
-
Daily arrivals peaked at 30,000–50,000 in June–July
-
Most returnees arrive with no shelter, food, or possessions after years or generations living abroad.
-
Border provinces are overwhelmed and lack capacity to absorb the influx.
-
Returnees are suffering from malnutrition, illness, heat exposure, lack of shelter and transportation, and psychological trauma.
Within Afghanistan, over 70% of the population suffered from hunger at some point last year — and more may suffer from hunger as the difficulties grow.
Clean water access is another escalating crisis — with experts warning that Kabul could become the first modern city to completely run out of water.
