Yemen’s Water Crisis

Water is necessary for life — but dirty water is a leading risk factor for death. The situation in Yemen is especially dire.

💧 Severe Water Scarcity

    • Yemen is one of the most water-stressed countries in the world.

⚔️ Impact of Conflict

    • War has destroyed water infrastructure and disrupted supply systems.

🚱 Public Health Crisis

    • Scarcity and contaminated water have fueled cholera outbreaks and other waterborne diseases — children are especially vulnerable.

📉 Economic Consequences

    • Families spend up to one-third of their income on water.
