War, Displacement, Hunger
The Syrian pound has significantly reduced in worth, food prices have increased by 200%, and communities continue to struggle to find security and resources for survival.
In addition to the war-torn landscape, natural disasters plunge Syrians deeper into poverty and a state of need.
From 2007-2010, Syrians endured the worst drought in the instrumental record, exhausting the country’s agricultural land and dramatically reducing the production of food, resulting in deep economic damage.
Even now, Syria struggles to restore its access to widespread, affordable food.
According to the Food Security Index, Syria surpasses the world average in the volatility of agricultural production and risk of political stability—both of which have strong correlations to food security.

Can they count on you?
Syria once was able to provide food for itself, but the harrowing effects of civil war, natural disasters, and agricultural challenges have made Syria increasingly dependent on external aid.
Without your help, many in Syria could continue to languish from malnutrition, illness, and starvation.
Will you provide a meal for Syrians in need?
