Position Overview

The Domestic Programs Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for Baitulmaal's humanitarian programs across the United States. This role is responsible for developing and implementing domestic program strategies, managing day-to-day operations, building strategic partnerships, supervising staff and volunteers, supporting institutional fundraising, and ensuring program excellence, compliance, and measurable community impact. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and expand Baitulmaal's U.S. Domestic Programs, including food security, disaster response, family assistance, refugee support, homelessness initiatives, seasonal relief, and community development. 
• Develop strategic plans, annual goals, budgets, and performance metrics. 
• Build partnerships with nonprofits, food banks, government agencies, healthcare organizations, corporations, and community leaders. 
• Supervise program staff, volunteers, and regional coordinators while fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability. 
• Oversee program implementation, monitoring, evaluation, compliance, and reporting. 
• Support grant development, donor engagement, and resource mobilization in partnership with the Fund Development team. 
• Represent Baitulmaal at community meetings, conferences, and collaborative initiatives. 

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in Nonprofit Management, Social Work, Public Health, Public Administration,, or a related field (A degree is preferred). 
• Minimum of five years of nonprofit program management experience, including three years of supervisory responsibility. 
• Demonstrated success in managing community-based programs, strategic partnerships, and program budgets. 
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.  
• Experience in humanitarian relief, food security, disaster response, or community development is highly desirable.
