GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE March 29, 2025 — Baitulmaal, a Dallas-based international humanitarian nonprofit, recently distributed 500 Eid clothing packages to vulnerable families in the Gaza Strip during the Ramadan season.

According to Ahmed Sherif, senior manager of international programs at Baitulmaal, the aid approximately reaches 500 people, including people with disabilities, orphans, and displaced people.

“For many families in Gaza, this aid was more than just clothing— they were a source of dignity, hope, and celebration during this holy season,” Sherif said. “Thanks to the generosity of our donors, hundreds of people felt remembered and supported this Ramadan.”

According to UNICEF, nearly 1 in 3 children in Gaza lacks access to adequate clothing due to poverty and displacement.

In addition to clothing distribution to vulnerable families in Gaza, Baitulmaal has also provided food, clean water, psychosocial support, Ramadan food packages, and hygiene supplies in Palestine.
