Last Year’s Numbers

Throughout last year, Baitulmaal worked on a number of clean water solutions, reaching communities across underserved regions, removing the barriers to healthy hydration that they previously faced.

  • In 2023, Baitulmaal donors sponsored 787 water projects, including wells in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nigeria, and Ghana, and water tank refills in Gaza.
  • Your donations helped build 448 water wells in Afghanistan and Pakistan, nourishing communities in desperate need.
  • Last year, we operated 400 water tanks across Gaza and pivoted to provide emergency water access stations to thousands of displaced families.
  • In Ghana and Nigeria, we constructed 35 donor-sponsored water wells, providing clean drinking water to families in need.
