Every year, devastating events like natural disasters, from floods and earthquakes, conflict and economic turmoil, push entire communities into poverty. Resulting in humanitarian crises like food insecurity and illness.

Man-made humanitarian crises, such as military invasions, bombings, and war, drive people from their homes, separating them from life's essentials. The United Nations reports that we are currently experiencing the highest levels of displacement in years.

Gaza Impact Matters

As the year draws to a close, the situation in Gaza continues to devastate innocent Palestinians, but our commitment to relief efforts remains unwavering. Baitulmaal is dedicated to providing essential aid, offering blankets, hygiene kits, food packages, and baby formula to 500 families in Deir Al-Balah, central Gaza. 

In addition, we are tirelessly providing psychosocial support to displaced Palestinian children, aiming to transform compassion into hope and bring smiles to those in need. 

Access to clean water remains a pressing challenge, made even more critical by limited resources and the escalating risk of cholera. Baitulmaal has redirected water resources in order to operate clean water stations located in schools and shelter centers in Al-Zawaideh, Deir-Al-Balah, Al-Maghazi Camp, Al-Nuseirat Camp, Al-Khawalda, and Al-Sawarha to reach as many people as possible.
