Turn Your Crypto Into Hope
Your generous support provides humanitarian aid to people in need around the world. This includes those struggling to survive turmoil in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria and Yemen as well as those struggling to pull themselves out of poverty in Jordan, Kenya, Pakistan and Somalia.
The IRS classifies cryptocurrencies as property, so cryptocurrency donations to 501(c)3 charities receive the same tax treatment as stocks. Donating cryptocurrency is a non-taxable event, meaning you do not owe capital gains tax on the appreciated amount and can deduct it from your taxes. (consult your financial advisor or tax preparer for more information).
