Every 2 minutes, a mother dies in pregnancy or childbirth. Maternal and infant mortality rates are 2x higher in Muslim-majority countries.
When war, poverty, and displacement impact access to healthcare, food, water, and other necessities, we must step in to help.
Through the Wellness for Mamas & Babies Fund, Baitulmaal provides access to life-changing nutrition and healthcare for women and babies who are most vulnerable.
From prenatal vitamins, nutrition counseling, ob/gyn services, and more, Baitulmaal believes that when we invest in mothers, we invest in their children, their families, and in generations to come.

Our Projects:
- We recently opened the new Baitulmaal Hope Hospital in Somalia to bring lifesaving maternal care closer to families.
- We’ve equipped new maternity units in Uganda so mothers can deliver with dignity.

- And in Gaza & Sudan, we mobilize emergency medical teams to support mothers and babies in the most difficult conditions.
