Development is a key aspect of A.H.E.D’s work, and we aim to better the societies and communities we work in, so that they may be able to have the same opportunities and privileges we have.

Development is a key aspect of A.H.E.D’s work, and we aim to better the societies and communities we work in, so that they may be able to have the same opportunities and privileges we have. Past programs have included sending shipments of clothing and shoes just in time for the beginning of the school year, so that the children and their parents will feel comfortable in their new attire, and can concentrate on studying rather than what they will wear tomorrow!

Some ongoing projects we are involved in include sending shipments of containers full of jackets, sweaters, and other articles of clothing for all seasons of the year. We also provide non-perishable goods such as rice, sugar, flour, cooking oil, tea, and other supplies on a monthly basis to sponsored families around the world.

We believe greatly in easing the pain and suffering for those in need, for the youth who have no shoulder to lean on, or mother or father to depend on. Through our sponsorship of orphanages in Bangladesh, Kenya, India, and elsewhere we hope to bring smiles and hope to these children who have lost so much!

A.H.E.D. is one of the nation’s many agencies fighting against hunger and despair. Our operation aims to:

Diminish malnutrition and starvation

Improve the nutritional needs and quality of life to those people who are at a disadvantage, extremely vulnerable, and are at critical times in their life.
Help people progress from crisis to recovery

Hunger poses a threat to health and productivity. Food aid is a key deterrent against poverty, and A.H.E.D. helps people escape the grip of poverty. With your generous donation we can secure food for those who need it the most. We strive to make sure young children and the elderly, who are vulnerable to malnutrition do not go undernourished.

Our operation are short-termed in nature and usually assist families who have little income, or have lost a their primary wage earner through divorce, age, illness, or death.

A.H.E.D. is committed to its quest to end starvation throughout the U.S. If people who are in need of our services can not come to us we make the necessary arrangements to go to them whenever possible.

Thrift Store

A.H.E.D. helps aid the needy with clothing and household assistance. Thousands of families fall through the cracks and are not eligible for governmental help. These families have suffered severe anguish due to some destruction or loss of wages, and are in dire need of help to get them back on their feet.

That is where we step in to give assistance with donations from people like you!

This assistance is usually short-term in nature and is meant to help families on their road to being self-sufficient once again. What can you do to help? Just Say Yes.
